'Yoplait natural style' represents the prototypical (median) low-fat natural yogurt, taken from a sample of 6 brands and sub-brands. The sample was collated as part of a research on the nutritional composition of yogurts in New Zealand.

This prototype is more representative of those who buy a particular brand of low-fat natural yogurt, as well as of the overall 'universe' of brands. However, an average based on mean values for the aggregated sample (dietBNI) may be more representative of those who change brands often, as well as of the population, in general.
